Robert and Marilyn were recognized in October 2025 at the American Hereford Association Annual Meeting as receiving the Golden Breeder Award for 50 years of registering Hereford cattle.  Years of hard work and dedication have earned Meischen Polled Hereford cattle a reputation for being profitable additions to any herd.

Why do we feel so confident in our bulls?  We use them as well!  Our bulls are used on our commercial Brangus herd and we market our black baldy calves in multiple ways.  In late August (in the middle of all the market chaos!) we sold a set of calves at Halletsville Livestock Commission where we had the highest selling set of calves that day.  Thanks to the Hagan & Heller Families for running a great operation and providing a beneficial market for producers!
